  • International air travel increased considerably by approximately 36.5%, but it still accounts for only around 90% of what it was before COVID-19 (ACI statistics).
  • The combined passenger traffic at the ten busiest airports rose by nearly 20%.
  • Dubai International Airport came second globally, surpassing Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport in historical terms, while Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport remained number one.
