IIT Madras Releases JEE Advanced 2024 Response Sheet

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has declared the response sheet for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2024. The response sheets of candidates who have appeared for the exam are now available on the official website of JEE Advanced 2024. 

Provisional Answer Key Release

After the response sheet, IIT Madras will release the provisional answer key. It will be an introductory version and corrections can be made depending on the students’ responses received. The candidates will be given the chance to lodge their complaints or the feedback on any of the questions. This process helps ensure that any discrepancies in the answer key can be fixed before the final version is released.

Final Answer Key and Results

The final answer key inclusive of any alterations based on the feedback of candidates will be made available on the official website on June 9, 2024. This finalized key will therefore be used to determine the candidates’ scores and their corresponding ranks. 

Examination Details

The JEE Advanced 2024 was conducted on May 26 in two sessions: the first shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the second shift from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. This exam serves as a prerequisite for admission to undergraduate programs such as Bachelor’s degree programs, Integrated Master’s Degree programs, and Bachelor/Master Integrated Degree programs in Engineering, Sciences, and Architecture.

Next Steps for Qualified Candidates

Those who get a rank in JEE Advanced 2024 will be able to join the Joint Seat Allocation process. This process enables candidates to provide their choices regarding the courses and the institute through a single interface that would simplify the admission process in all the IITs.        

Many candidates who couldn’t secure a seat in IIT can also use their ranks to study abroad as many countries and dignified universities abroad recognize JEE Advance scores and ranks, one of these countries is Germany which features universities in the world’s Top 100, and all the universities in Germany accepts JEE Advanced ranks. 

The release of the JEE Advanced 2024 response sheet marks the beginning of the crucial post-exam phase for candidates. With the provisional answer key release and the subsequent objection period, IIT Madras ensures a transparent and fair evaluation process.
