Applied Ventures Has Chosen Seven Deep Tech Startups For ASTRA 2023
Applied Ventures, LLC, the company’s venture capital business, and Applied Materials India Private Limited selected seven deeptech startups for its ASTRA (Applied Startup Technology & Research Accelerator) start-up engagement programme during the fourth cohort in Bengaluru. In order to realise creative ideas, ASTRA works with startups as part of its purpose.
Lightspeed Photonics, Portkey, Sungreen H2, Exposome, OIP Technologies, App Sentinels, and Ethereal Machines are just a few of the firms from India and Singapore that have been selected for ASTRA 2023.
After being picked from a group of more than 50 outstanding candidates, the chosen start-ups presented their business strategies to Applied Materials executives and other industry professionals at the event. Following that, the start-ups were evaluated based on criteria like Growth Potential, Differentiation from Existing Market Solutions and Business Models, Fit to Applied Technology and Business, and High-Value Problems Addressed.
The focus areas for ASTRA 2023 were Generative AI, Semiconductor and Display Technologies, Sustainability, Supply Chain Solutions, Cybersecurity, Advanced Materials, Advanced Optics and Photonics, and AI Hardware.

They have all shown amazing goals for the future, and we are eager to mentor and work with them as they reach their full potential.
