BITS Design School Opens Doors to a Creative Future
The application procedure for the long- awaited 4-year residential Bachelor of Design (Honours) course has been announced by the BITS Design School (BITSDES). The application for this paradigm altering program is now available to anyone interested in pursuing design as a career.

The curriculum of the establishment, BITSDES is completely built with the concept of human-centered design at the fore. There are five pathways available in the programme contributing to the specific fields of design:
- Designing of Physical Products: Participate in the design and all production stages of a product from conception through to the market launch.
- Digital product design (UX/UI): Go beyond boundaries and design engaging and seamless digital interfaces.
- Design Research and Evaluation: Design and research towards the effective use of evidence and creativity in design.
- Designing for Experience: Develop rich and engaging experiences for users in different media.
- Design in the Context of Visual Communication: Use graphic design and typography as communication tools to convey messages.

Admission Guidelines and Important Dates
The program admission period has commenced but will finish over a year from now and is scheduled on the 31st of January in 2025. In a future application, the candidate must include design prevocational selection:
NID-DAT Prelims UCEED. BITS Design Aptitude Test (BITSDAT). The BITSDAT is expected to be held not earlier than March 31 and not later than April 5, 2025, results would be made public by April 14 of the same year. The further steps in the admission process include the evaluation of the portfolio (April 21 – 28, 2025) and the conduct of the written interviews through the web (May 2 – 12, 2025).
